REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT INFORMATION
General Class and Workshop Instructions
We recommend that all participants wear comfortable, non-restrictive clothing and good sports or dance oriented footwear (sneakers or flat Jazz dance shoes). No outdoor or high heeled footwear permitted. Students must present a valid ID to qualify for the special rates.
Dance Class Payment Options
Registration opens 15 minutes before each class. Drop-in class fees are due in full upon registration. Participants have the option to pay in advance for the Dance Class Series at a discounted rate. For those opting for the Dance Class Series, half (50%) of the fee is due on the date the series begins. The outstanding balance must be remitted no later than the end of the 2nd class of the series. Special payments can be arranged dependent on the circumstance.
Workshop Payment Options
Registration is open a half hour before the workshop begins. The workshop fee can be prepaid in full or made in two half (50%) installments. The remainder of the fee is due on the date the workshop starts. Special payments can be arranged dependent on the circumstance.
Payment Methods
Payments can be made by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, debit, cheques, cash, money order or online through PayPal. A $25 admin fee will be charged for NSF cheques.
Cancellations
MixedBlood Entertainment reserves the right to cancel or postpone a Basic Dance Class or Dance Class Series; Workshop Offer, Workshop Series or Special Event and Cultural Workshops in the event of an emergency, bad weather conditions or insufficient enrollment. With the exception of bad weather conditions, participants will be notified 48 hours in advance of a MBE hosted Basic Dance Class, Dance Class Series or workshop cancellation. One weeks notice will be given for a Dance Class Series and workshops in partnership with another business entity. In such cases, another date will be scheduled or, dependent on the circumstance, fees refunded. Participants must cancel either within 48 hours for a MBE Basic Dance Class and series, or two weeks in advance for a Dance Class Series and workshops in partnership with another business entity.
Refunds
Reimbursements of fees are available for participants who have prepaid for a Dance Class Series; or a Single Workshop Offer, Workshop Series or Special Events and Cultural Workshop that are presented in partnership with another business entity. There are no reimbursements for missed sessions in a dance class or workshop series. A Dance Class Series will be refunded, less a $10 admin fee and payment for classes already taken before the 3rd class of the series. Refunds will not be given after the 3rd class of the series. Partnership workshops are refundable, less a $50 non refundable admin fee. Refunds are non-negotiable for individuals and groups who attend a drop-in class or MBE hosted special workshops.
