WORKSHOPS ON THE R.O.A.D.

Our single three-hour historical dance workshops and progressive workshop series are available at low, affordable prices. You provide the space, and we will set the pace!

Single Workshop Offer:

A three-hour non-progressive introductory workshop including an African/Afro-Funk/Jazz dance warm up; a brief historical narrative of some of the people who were influential in creating Street Swing/Jazz dance and Swing/Jazz music; a two hour basic dance lesson; and a special video presentation of the original Street Swing/Jazz dancers from Harlem.

Workshop Series:

A five (5) week, three-hour progressive dance workshop series including an African/Afro-Funk/Jazz dance warm-up; historical narratives of the people who were influential in creating Street Swing/Jazz dance, other earlier dances and the music that inspired them; and two hour basic to beyond basic dance lessons. Special video presentations of the original Street Swing/Jazz dancers from Harlem and much more will be included in these lessons.

SPECIAL EVENTS AND CULTURAL WORKSHOPS:

For your special events and cultural workshops, MixedBlood Entertainment can provide exciting and fun presentations tailored to suite particular themes, occasions, or offered as an unique addition to any event. MBE can provide solo productions or collaborate in partnership with other businesses, community, cultural and social organizations. On or off-site locations can be arranged.
