Theatrical Dance

MixedBlood Entertainment appreciates the African arts, spread around the world. It is truly a shame how often these breathtakingly beautiful crystallizations of artistic expression are overlooked today.  We continue to investigate and learn about Afro-centric dances, music, and the cultures at large. Armed with such knowledge, we hope to spread the magic of our ancestors to our brothers and sisters.

Contemporary movement and sound have their roots deep in African dance and movement. As ‘protoAfrican’ culture has increasingly influenced the rest of the world, African art has truly propagated. MBE’s dance lessons, workshops, performances, presentations, and relationships with other artists and historians aim to do just that: MBE preserves Afro-centric heritage, and sheds light on the beauty of African derived dances.
